Labor Day Weekend...

Today I stopped at the Dollare store for the Sunday paper, when I got ready pay I spotted a penny on the floor (so I picked it up before paying). I can't wait until the pain stops so I can get out with my ACE, this has been a bad year for metal detecting. Gonna focus for next year.

Went to the Dollar Store...

This morning, I stopped at the Dollar store to get some items to redo, as I walked in I spotted a penny on the floor by the register. I went and got a cart than walked over and picked up the penny, didn't want to look odd going right over after coming in the door. Finally decided on what to get went to check out, when done I spotted another penny this time under the ledge by another register, aslo picked that one up. When I went outside on the walkway next to the wall I saw another penny, walked over to pick it up.

Sundays find...May 29, 2011

Yesterday I stopped at the Dollar store for the Sunday paper, my husband said find a penny than we get it for .99 ccents. As I walked in I searched the floor, nothing. When I got up to the counter on the asprin boxes on the shelf I spotted a penny. When I went back to the car I gave my husband a thumb's up telling him I did find one, LOL!!!. Tomorrow I'm gonna try and get out with my ACE, last week hurt my ankle at first I thought I broke it (heard a loud snap), x-ray's gave me the good news it's not just pulled a tendon/soft tissue.

Returned bottles and cans today.

Today, I went to the grocery store to return 4 bags of bottles and cans for the deposit. As I was putting in the plastic bottles the machine next to me I noticed the slip for the cash, a man was on the other side of that machine I assumed it was his because people many times work on two machines at a time. He walked away, so I grabbed it the amount was .70 cents also found another can in the return slot another .05 cents. That makes an extra .75 cents to my savings. Afterwards I stopped at the Dollar store to get some cookies and a couple of books for the projects I'm working on, when I went to check out I saw a penny on the floor so when it came to my turn I bent down to pick it up. Finds for Yesterday and Today...

Yesterdays in was on 3/26/2011, went to MacD's after getting our taxes done. After I ate, went to refill my drink and under the grate at the soda machine I saw what looked like a dark disk, upon looking closer noticed that it was a penny, so I lifted the grate and took it. Todays find was at the Dollar Tree, went to get the usual Sunday paper and while waiting in line to cash out I again noticed a penny, this one was on top of a candy box on the floor level shelf. So I bent down to retrieve that penny. It's been very cold since the last snow fall, has not been out of the 20's so I have not been out to do more Coin Shooting. *********************

Got My Two Cents...

This morning my husband and I did our regular thing for today, first was to get the Sunday paper. As I was getting out of the car I spotted to pennies on the cement edging of a flower bed, there is construction going on at this plaza so it was kind of a messy area. Later in the day we all stopped at the park on the beach, wish I had my ACE with me even if I did the ground was so wet and cold.

Sunday Morning...

This morning my husband and I went to MacD's for breakfast. I walked over to the Dollar store to get the Sunday paper, I got the paper and spotted a penny on the floor so as the saying goes "See a penny pick it up all the day you'll have Good Luck" so far not for I didn't stay out long, especially with all this snow around.

Lucky Penny Found

As usual stopped at the Dollar Store for the Sunday paper, I spotted a penny on the floor next to the cart that has the newspapers. You got it, I picked it up with some difficulty case of the bulky winter jacket (man, I'm getting to dislike winter). I can't wait til the weather gets better so I can get out and detect or even take a walk to find coins laying on the ground, than I'll have something better to post *smiles*

Our usual stop for the Sunday paper at the Dollar store. I got the paper and on the way out spotted the penny, I went to pick it up don't care if someone saw me *grin* it's free money.

Eye-ball finds for today

This morning, stopped at the Dollar store for the Sunday paper an in front of the check-out counter I spotted the usual penny which I picked up but with some difficulty because of my winter jacket, I felt like a huge snow-man. Later in the day we stopped at Walmart and there I again spotted a penny but this one was outside near the entrance, some school kids were selling candy and it wasn't far from them...

This morning was still rainy and wet so didn't do any detecting, went out for breakfast at Burger King. First stopped at the Dollar store for the Sunday paper, when I got to the register to pay I spotted a coin in the usual spot on the floor, just under the counter ledge. This time it was a dime...

Another trip to the Dollar Store...

Today went out with my husband and one of the places was the Dollar store, the one I was at yesterday. When I walked in I noticed a penny in the same spot as the one I found yesterday so I went and picked it up no one was standing in line at the time. When it came time to check out I was waiting for my husband to finish what he was looking for, I than noticed more pennies in the same area so I got in line with him and when it was his turn to pay I picked them up. Found 4 pennies...
