Returned bottles and cans today.

Today, I went to the grocery store to return 4 bags of bottles and cans for the deposit. As I was putting in the plastic bottles the machine next to me I noticed the slip for the cash, a man was on the other side of that machine I assumed it was his because people many times work on two machines at a time. He walked away, so I grabbed it the amount was .70 cents also found another can in the return slot another .05 cents. That makes an extra .75 cents to my savings. Afterwards I stopped at the Dollar store to get some cookies and a couple of books for the projects I'm working on, when I went to check out I saw a penny on the floor so when it came to my turn I bent down to pick it up. Bottle Return

It's the end of the month and I decided to make some room in the hallway, so I took in 3 bags of soda bottles.

While the weather has been cold, I have been working on making and painting ornaments to sell. Can't wait til the nice weather arrives, it's a little over 50 days til Spring and I'm hoping for an early Spring.

Today, I went to return the bottles for deposit getting to be to many in the hallway and the weather was looking good, so I headed out.

This morning I went to the grocery store so I took in the bottles to return for deposit, it was about time getting to be to many in the hallway.

This morning I went and returned bottles and cans that I had and also the ones found while metal detecting. When I took the slips to the register for the money, I got this nickel from the refund. I collect all nickels 1963 and older, even if I have that date filled in my coin albums.

Was getting a bit to much with the bags of bottles in the hallway. So took the in and to enjoy some air conditioning (Man, the cool air felt wonderful). This is the 3rd day in the 90's, supposed to get one more than some rain...

Rainy day no detecting today...

The day started out very cloudy, than the rain came in early noon plus had a meeting to go to at my son's school for summer and next year. Instead I stopped at hardware store to pick up more items than off to the grocery store to return bottles for the .05 cent deposit.

Starting to get to many bags in hallway so time to turn in for deposit. When I got to the machines in the store there was this gentleman waiting at the counter to return 3 glass bottles, he turned to me and said I could have them (I thanked him).

Weather a little warmer

So I went out for a short spell, first got some gas as I walked in to pay I saw the reflection of a dime in the glass on the door and low and behold there was a shiney dime. After I went on to the grocery store to pick up a few things and return bottles for the deposit...Nice way to start a new month...

Good Morning, yesterday went to the grocery story to return bottles and when I got to check out found a penny and under a bench was a shiney dime (yes, I moved that bench).

Black Friday...

Today being Black Friday, I'm glad I was and will not be the kind of person to stand in line or get to a store early. I did get out of the house for a little while for the first time since Tuesday, took in the bottles for refund nice easy walk. After parking and getting out of the car I spotted a dime and on the way back to the car also spotted a penny.

Even though the weather was beautiful and warm had an appointment to go to this morning so decided to take a day off. Took some bottles in for deposit return and browsed the grocery store. At the hospital ramp garage found a penny on the ground next to my car.

Thank Goodness no Snow...

Today, I didn't go coin shooting due to my knee having much pain and a bit hard to walk. The weather was pretty good, south of here had snow I'm glad not here it's just way to early. So I decided to take in a bag of bottles to get out of my car. I went today and got some supplies for drawing, for winter is gonna be here in no time ground will be frozen and I will be unable to go Metal Detecting. So I will be getting back into my art until spring.

Oct. 2, 2009... Large bottle find for return...

As I went to one of the playgrounds to coin shoot the trash can next to my car was loaded with bottles the kind with a .05 deposit, I filled 3 shopping bags. When finished metal detecting found a penny next to my driver side door. Later that day even with the pouring rain had to take in the bottles car was starting to smell like a brewery.
