Return bottles and cans today...

Today went out for a little while, so I grabbed two garbage bags full of bottles and some cans to rreturn for the deposit.

This morning I took in the cans and bottles for the deposit, was about time had two garbage bags full. While there putting them into the machine another person had a big bag, they were mixed alot was to go into the blue box for recycling but there were the other cans. He asked if anybody wanted the bag, suggested to him to give it toe the gentleman next to him, I didn't have alot of time to go thru it.

Wednesdays bottle return...

This morning, I took two huge garbage bags full of bottles and cans to the store for deposit return. Haven't been out detecting due to the heat (I hate Hot temps) and back and leg pain. Have been busy making and painting ornaments to sell.

Bottle return day...

Oh yeah, time to get the bottles in for the deposit. After watching a favorite show "Law and Order SVU" I got ready to that in the bottles, have way to many full bags. Didn't do any detecting today, after the errand I decided to mow the lawn for there is a rain forcast for this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. I plan on detecting Saturday morning at some schools.

Returned bottles and cans today.

Today, I went to the grocery store to return 4 bags of bottles and cans for the deposit. As I was putting in the plastic bottles the machine next to me I noticed the slip for the cash, a man was on the other side of that machine I assumed it was his because people many times work on two machines at a time. He walked away, so I grabbed it the amount was .70 cents also found another can in the return slot another .05 cents. That makes an extra .75 cents to my savings. Afterwards I stopped at the Dollar store to get some cookies and a couple of books for the projects I'm working on, when I went to check out I saw a penny on the floor so when it came to my turn I bent down to pick it up. I Believe Spring finally Sprung.

Today, I was getting ready for the GVTS meeting. Before the meeting I went and returned my cans and bottles for deposit, pretty much the end of the month unless I find some while detecting. The weather was cold but sunny so I didn't do any detecting, after the meeting I wish that I had for the air temp felt very good.

Took bottles in for deposit.

This morning, I went to the grocery store to return the bottles for the deposit. Than afterwards I ran to the mall, before running into Michael's store I stopped at MacD's for a large diet coke. Went thru drive up after paying I saw a coin on the ledge of the window in the corner this time I didn't take it but told the employee that it was his lucky day and pointed to the coin ( the coin by it's edge looked like a quarter).

Brrrrr.... It's Cold This Morning

Went to two locations this morning, first was a elementary school I was there 2 weeks ago and did good not that great today. I did find this kids charm in the wood chips, picture shows the front and back it's the size of a penny, also found .63 cents. Had several days that were rainy probably causing the children not getting out to much for play. I than decided to go back to the park at the beach even though I mentioned I was done there for the season, here I found 3 bottles and a can and .76 cents in coins.

Bottle Return Day...

This morning I went and returned bottles and cans that I had and also the ones found while metal detecting. When I took the slips to the register for the money, I got this nickel from the refund. I collect all nickels 1963 and older, even if I have that date filled in my coin albums.

This morning, I went and returned the bottles and cans for the .05 cent deposit that I had inn the hallway and found while detecting.

Finally returned bottles and cans...

This morning, I finally returned my bottles and cans for the deposit. I would of perferred to have gone metal detecting but my body is in such pain. From the two bags in the hallway, and a couple of bags in the car from cans I find while detecting, I got a total of $4.00. Also, there was this man at the customer service counter getting change from whatever transaction, he dropped a penny after he walked away I went and picked it up. Hey, find a penny pick it up all the day I have Good Luck...

Haven't been detecting since Saturday 7-31-2010...

For several reasons I didn't go out detecting, first was the car, than rain and heat and yesterday had to do laundry. I did find a penny on the floor of the laundry mat gave it to a gentleman that was there washing cloths with his young son, told him heres a Lucky penny for the boy, (I did not enter the penny in my journal). The family was traveling thru the area, they live in NYC. It was so Hot yesterday with Humidity that I could actually see the air, I hate the humidty. Today was gonna go out but thunderstorms are in the area so decided not to go out again the heat is on, tomorrow supposed to be cooler and I will hit the park. I did take cans and bottles to the store for deposit, had 3 large bags it was about time to get them out...

Returned bottles for deposit and found Silver...

Went to the grocery store to return bottles, getting a bit to many. When I went into the store, I walked past the CoinStar machine to check the return slot and spotted this quarter dated 1942S (Silver) YES!!!. Made the day a little more brighter...

A warm start of the day...

This morning got out early before the heat hits, went to 3 parks/playgrounds. First one okay found .53 cents this park is not in a neighborhood that attracks a lot of kids, was here last year and also found about the same amount. The second place did a little better, come across a penny/nickle spill in one area. Total here found .59 cents also was here last year but found more back than. Than back to one playground did very good here the other week, found .38 cents and 3 bottles to return for deposit that's .05 cents each total of .15 cents. Most of the coins found on the black top under the picnic tables.

Rainy day no detecting today...

The day started out very cloudy, than the rain came in early noon plus had a meeting to go to at my son's school for summer and next year. Instead I stopped at hardware store to pick up more items than off to the grocery store to return bottles for the .05 cent deposit.

Starting to get to many bags in hallway so time to turn in for deposit. When I got to the machines in the store there was this gentleman waiting at the counter to return 3 glass bottles, he turned to me and said I could have them (I thanked him).
