Todays find...

Today was the boring trip to the laundry mat, after everything was washed I went to put into the dryer found a penny. I thought I lost my touch with finding coins at the laundry place. When finished I stopped at Wegmans to pick up a few items, on the way out I went to check the Coin Star, someone was using it when I came in. I found a dime on the floor.

With the weather getting colder, I'm working more on my handmade/handpainted ornaments, I have them on my other blog "Audiz Creations". I don't go out much. My goal is to get back out in the Spring with my metal detector, hoping the pain I have is gone by then.

A Lucky Penny...

Today, after the laundry mat I went over to Walmart to get a few things. On the way out I spotted a penny on the floor near the cashiers (I picked it up).

Friday morning eye ball find.

This morning, I went and did laundry as I was waiting for the dryers I spotted a shiney penny on the floor next to the chair I was going to sit in, I picked it up after I sat down. After laundrey I stopped at Wegman's grocery store on the way back to the car I spotted 2 pennies in the Coinstar machine, so I reached in and grabbed them.

This morning, I was off to do laundry after putting clothes in washer went at got some change from the change machine in the return slot sat a quarter ( I thought I lost my touch :-D with not getting out much).

My find was from the laundry mat. I was walking around checking the machines for coins, I than went over to the vending machine and checked the return slots, in the snack machine I found a dime in there. Even though I haven't been getting out much this winter, I still find some coins :-)...

Morning at the Laundry Mat...

This morning I went and did laundry, the weather is now at a decent temp so I went out. While there I went over to the snack machine to get some chips, everything in the machine is .85 cents. When I reached in to get my selection I felt another item, was a Baby Ruth candy bar (FREE!). When I was all done with the laundry and taking the baskets back out to the car I saw a penny on the ground, this Good Luck penny came after the candy *grin*...

A Morning Trip to the Laundry Mat

This morning I went to do laundry, I'm hoping that it will not be busy there and it wasn't, less people the faster I get out. When I got ready to put my clothes into the dryer I found a lone penny. Hmm, haven't lost my touch usually find a coin or two in the machines. When everything was drying I went over to the vending machine to get a snack, also lucky here too, got a bonus nickel in my change.

Got out for awhile today...

This morning, I got out for awhile to do laundry before more snow fell. Boy do I wish it was Spring so I could get back to detecting. While I was putting my clothes in the dryer I looked close and there was a quarter in the return slot, I thought I was loosing my touch. Later in the day my husband and I went out to eat a late lunch and under the next table I spotted what looked like a coin, this time I didn't go for it because of other people sitting nearby.

Today, I finally decided to do laundry have been taking it easy for a week due to back and leg pain. Gonna try to get out tomorrow and do a little coin shooting weather is supposed to be pretty good, today was a rainy and stormy day. when I was done with the dryers the first one surprised me with dropping a nickel when I opened the door.

Yesterday Morning at the Laundry Mat...

While doing laundry I walked around looking on the floor and in the machines to see if I could find any coins, I saw none. As I was watching the clothes dry, I looked at the machines at an angle and with the reflection on the face of the Driers I saw something sticking out of coin return, found a coin after all...

Haven't been detecting since Saturday 7-31-2010...

For several reasons I didn't go out detecting, first was the car, than rain and heat and yesterday had to do laundry. I did find a penny on the floor of the laundry mat gave it to a gentleman that was there washing cloths with his young son, told him heres a Lucky penny for the boy, (I did not enter the penny in my journal). The family was traveling thru the area, they live in NYC. It was so Hot yesterday with Humidity that I could actually see the air, I hate the humidty. Today was gonna go out but thunderstorms are in the area so decided not to go out again the heat is on, tomorrow supposed to be cooler and I will hit the park. I did take cans and bottles to the store for deposit, had 3 large bags it was about time to get them out...

Heavy Rain this Morning...

Due to the rain I decided to go to the Laundry Mat to get the laundry done. As I was waiting for the washer to finish I walked around checking the dryers for coins, nothing. Than while waiting for the machine to stop spinning I was talking to this person waiting for his washer to finish. I happened to look into the washer next to mine and spotted a coin inside, a nickel.

Today at the laundry mat I went over to the snack machine, put my money in was to get .15 cent change with that I also got a bonus of a .25. And later in the afternoon stopped at the grocery store, watched a man at the coinstar machine after he left I noticed something in the bag he had his coins in, was a penny...

Mondays eyeball finds...

This morning I went to do laundry, after done with the dryers I found/heard a penny rolling around (was a Canadian penny). After there I stopped at the grocery store to check a lottery ticket I found in hubby's pocket (was a non-winner). I spotted a penny on the counter next to the register (I left it be) there was a penny in that same counter on a ledge ( took that one).

Well, I was off to the laundry mat after watching one of my favorite show (Law and Order, SVU). After the laundry was washed and dried and started folding I looked over to the other counter and spotted a penny (no one nearby, so I went over and picked it up to add to to my collection of found money).

It was quite warm, but had to get laundry done. Wanted to take my detector with me to work and then hit the play ground but would of been to tired, if no rain on Thurday I'll take it than otherwise Friday and again Saturday, those two days are supposed to be nice.
