Hot and Muggy day for detecting...

I finally got out been awhile, went to the park at the beach the last 3 days there was a festival so I decided to go and see if I'd do good. Most of the park was still fenced off so I searched the TotLot and all away around the fence, didn't go beyond the fence will another time when everything is back to normal. Still did pretty good even thou I was dealing with leg/foot and back pain (have to get myself moving again). I found what looks like a Jade bracelet (feels like stone) the center stone has an image of a bat (found out it means Good Luck). Also, 6 religous charms/beads looks like something from a craft store, was broken so only found 6 of them.

Sundays find...May 29, 2011

Yesterday I stopped at the Dollar store for the Sunday paper, my husband said find a penny than we get it for .99 ccents. As I walked in I searched the floor, nothing. When I got up to the counter on the asprin boxes on the shelf I spotted a penny. When I went back to the car I gave my husband a thumb's up telling him I did find one, LOL!!!. Tomorrow I'm gonna try and get out with my ACE, last week hurt my ankle at first I thought I broke it (heard a loud snap), x-ray's gave me the good news it's not just pulled a tendon/soft tissue.

Stopped at Thrift Store...

This morning we went to a SA Thrift store before picking up our son. They had nothing but junk at this store and everything priced to high, boken stuff on the floor had to walk around it. Anyway, my husband picked up a couple of VHS movies, while waiting for him I found a penny on the floor, so I picked it up.

Breakfast at MacD's

This morning hubby and I went to MacDonald's for breakfast, he ordered breakfast and got my soda from the machine. I told him to get the tray and I'll get my soda, on the way back to the table I spotted a penny inside the bench, so I took it.

Eye ball finds...

Late this morning I headed out to my son's school for a yearly meeting. First thing I needed to do was get some gas, not gonna go to far on E. I went a payed for the gas , than out to pump as I took to hose to the car I spotted 3 pennies on the ground (Yes, I picked them up holding the hose) looked around to see if there were anymore, no luck.

Returned bottles and cans today.

Today, I went to the grocery store to return 4 bags of bottles and cans for the deposit. As I was putting in the plastic bottles the machine next to me I noticed the slip for the cash, a man was on the other side of that machine I assumed it was his because people many times work on two machines at a time. He walked away, so I grabbed it the amount was .70 cents also found another can in the return slot another .05 cents. That makes an extra .75 cents to my savings. Afterwards I stopped at the Dollar store to get some cookies and a couple of books for the projects I'm working on, when I went to check out I saw a penny on the floor so when it came to my turn I bent down to pick it up.
