Finds for Yesterday and Today...

Yesterdays in was on 3/26/2011, went to MacD's after getting our taxes done. After I ate, went to refill my drink and under the grate at the soda machine I saw what looked like a dark disk, upon looking closer noticed that it was a penny, so I lifted the grate and took it. Todays find was at the Dollar Tree, went to get the usual Sunday paper and while waiting in line to cash out I again noticed a penny, this one was on top of a candy box on the floor level shelf. So I bent down to retrieve that penny. It's been very cold since the last snow fall, has not been out of the 20's so I have not been out to do more Coin Shooting. *********************

Back to Wal Mart...

This afternoon, I headed back to Wal Mart needed to make a return and pick up a few items. When I got to the checkout two people were ahead of me, while waiting I spotted a dime on the floor just under the ledge of the counter, hope nobody sees it. Yes! they didn't see it, when it came to my turn I bent down to pick it up.

Today, stopped at WalMart while there I spotted a few pennies, 2 of them I picked up the other 2 I passed on, for they where near the cashiers feet.

Got my two cents...

Today was really nice, 65 before the sun came up it is very windy. I had somethings to do today so couldn't get in some detecting time. One stop was to Rite Aid, when I got out of the car I spotted a shiney penny in the ground, so I picked it up. In the store as I was getting ready to leave I spotted another penny on the floor just under the shelf edge, so I went and picked that up also. Hey, see a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck, I got two in a short time so I'm seeing good luck this year.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day...

Happy St. Paddy's Day, finally the weather has gotten warmer and I was out doing a little detecting/coin shooting. Also, first day detecting last year started on St. Paddy's day, hmmm wonder if that'll be a good sign that I'll find something good :-) this year . The first day took it slow due to bad back. I went to the park at the beach and searched around in the totlot, didn't find to much but that was expected with it being a long cold winter not many people out. I heard and saw many geese heading north a beautiful sight and sound. Also, spotted several Robins with not getting out much today was the first day I saw them.

Took bottles in for deposit.

This morning, I went to the grocery store to return the bottles for the deposit. Than afterwards I ran to the mall, before running into Michael's store I stopped at MacD's for a large diet coke. Went thru drive up after paying I saw a coin on the ledge of the window in the corner this time I didn't take it but told the employee that it was his lucky day and pointed to the coin ( the coin by it's edge looked like a quarter).
