Found a Toyota...

Went to one village park, have been to it a couple of times so I thought I'd hit it today. When I got there I saw that the TotLot had the woodchips replaced with a recycled rubber mat. Since I had planned on searching there and some of the surrounding area of the playground, I decided not to stay. Went to another Town Park, have been there also in the past. There are two good sized TotLots and some picnic tables in the area. I searched the woodchips, not to much so I went around the outer part in the grass found some of the larger coins (quarters all found in the grass). Did find another Chucky Cheese token this one is 2003, at first I thought it was a quarter. Around the other play area in the grass I found the Toyota emblem it is 1 6/8" Wide x 1 1/4" High, must of been from a key ring or someones necklace, on the top above the hat shows that there was a loop or something that has broken off. Not to much found, had to stop started to rain...

Coin shooting Sunday Morning...

This morning, I got an early start went to an elementary school I've been to several times. I did pretty good found $1.55 in clad, two Chucky Cheese tokens 2004 and 2005, and what looks like a puzzle ring has 4 intertwined links, this I found under a bench at the play area (don't think it's silver see no mark and looks like it has small pitted areas).
The second location decided to search a park instead of another school, did pretty good here also. Found $1.12 in clad coins, a childs bangel bracelet and a Red Hot Wheel car #841 on the bottom. Decided to stop for the morning, it's after 9:30AM and starting to get a bit warm.
I drove to the park that has the soccer fest to see if it really is happening, it is and the venders are in the area the lady from yesterday told me. I'm going to get a really earlly start, to beat the others that go metal detecting (hope no one goes tonight).

It is HUGE!!

Went to the beach to detect the TotLot, than decided to work my way to the sand. Didn't search the sand much due to difficulty walking in it. Along with clad coins found another Chucky Cheese token 2001. When I reached the sand I saw another person metal detecting, from a distance he looked familiar, I got closer and than I knew who he was (one of the members from the metal detecting club I'm in). We talked for a little while detecting and different areas, than he went on searching the sand and I was on my way back to the car. I searched an area of grass that's in the shade of the trees that's when I got a very strong target (figured is was a quarter spill) when I found it it was Huge, this mans ring. Called over to Curt to show him what I just found that's when he saw that it was silver it has the .925 mark also the letters GM possible the makers mark.

Thurday Morning Coin Shooting...

This morning went to the Suburb I was gonna do the other day, not that great. The Town Park nothing found in the woodchips, did find a nickel in the grass on the outer edge of the play area. The ground was also very soggy from the storms yesterday. Went on to the second park down the road from here this place has 3 TotLots, first one is the biggest did find some coins .73 cents the first coin a quarter was found in the grass before I reached the chips. TotLot 2 this one is smaller and a layer of new woodchips was put in, making the finds a little deeper. Did find clad coins .61 cents and a Chucky Cheese 2009 token. TotLot 3 is a little futher away and the same size as the second one, nothing was found here so I left. The third park here in this town I found but not good found one penny.

Couple of Tot Lots...

This morning I went to two TotLots, it's been a week since my last hunt and boy was it relaxing. First playground, I got some clad .13cents and left my digging shovel there realized it when I got to the second playground (bummer). Thank goodness it was just woodchips I was searching thru, there I got some more clad, .24cents and my first Chucky Cheese token (2003).
