Back to Elementary School...

Only found 4 pennies at the first school, alot where found at the second location I believe this wheatie was found there. It is a 1945.

This Hot wheel car, B04 Mitsubishi Eclipse Conceprt Car-Thailand was found at the second elementary school this morning, in the grass just outside of the woodchip play area.

This Tonka green ladder fire truck was also found at the second school closer to the building. On the bottom says Maisto with an R in a circle, this website www.maisto.com . Tonka with the copyright mark 2000 or 2006 hard to make out the last # and than Hasbro.
The first school I did't find to much, Did manage to find .14 cents. I'm sure once school starts again these places will be replenished with coins. The second school did find $2.36 in coins, one area found most of the quarters roughly about 4 inches down.

Coin shooting Sunday Morning...

This morning, I got an early start went to an elementary school I've been to several times. I did pretty good found $1.55 in clad, two Chucky Cheese tokens 2004 and 2005, and what looks like a puzzle ring has 4 intertwined links, this I found under a bench at the play area (don't think it's silver see no mark and looks like it has small pitted areas).
The second location decided to search a park instead of another school, did pretty good here also. Found $1.12 in clad coins, a childs bangel bracelet and a Red Hot Wheel car #841 on the bottom. Decided to stop for the morning, it's after 9:30AM and starting to get a bit warm.
I drove to the park that has the soccer fest to see if it really is happening, it is and the venders are in the area the lady from yesterday told me. I'm going to get a really earlly start, to beat the others that go metal detecting (hope no one goes tonight).

Searched and found a car...

Went out this morning, boy was it cold out at least it wasn't snowing like yesterday. The first place has two playgrounds, found some clad coins .41cents and a Hot wheel car (Porsche 935 Turbo)-D55 Hong Kong. Before finding the hot wheel I got a large signal in the sand so I dug and out came a childs pink sandle, thank goodness was just the shoe. The other park I went to didn't stay because some constuction was going on (putting in some new play equipment). So I decided to drive over to another place, in this park are 2 playgrounds the small one not good, the larger one did okay (last year found nother there) .52 cents.

Thursday Morning Coin Shooting...

This morning I woke-up way before my alarm clock, was still dark since it was 5:15AM so I waited till some daylight started to show. I went to a new playground one I haven't been to before but knew it was there, it's not to big in size. Got a $1.04 in clad coins, not bad for the first hunt of the morning. I than went to a park I have been to a few times, this time I tried around the baseball field on the out side of the fence, found a Hot Wheel car (Corvette 1975) and a token (Roooofus The Roller 1998) and one penny. Than on to another playground have also been to this one several times, did get .17 cents in clad coins. The last playground is the one I have gotten a large hit when I first hunted it, today I got .30 cents in clad. Not to bad in my searches, tomorrow I'm off to the the beach for my coin hunting...

Coin Shooting a Tot Lot and at the Beach...

After the severe rain storm yesterday I wasn't sure if it be good Medal Detecting, and I was right wasn't to good and very humid. I went to the Tot Lot I was gonna try last weekend but an event was going on there, wasn't to good got 2 coins and a heart bracelet lil tag says Avon on it...After about an hour I decided to hit the other beach. It wasn't any better, the walk way down the hill to the beach was just about washed away but did manage to find a nickel and a couple of pennies on the hill. By the water near the life guards chairs I did find a Hot Wheel car buried in the sand, this car makes #11. The Hot Wheel I found is a Nissan Silvia S15. A few others I found in the past are not the greatest shape but I added them into my collection anyway.

Coin Shooting...Tot Lot

This morning, I went out to a different playground than yesterday. This one was a good size and also had a sandbox, soccer field I stayed away from. I found some clad coins and in the sandbox I found a couple pennies and 3 hot wheel cars, not bad (since I started metal detecting beginning of May. I have recovered 10 of these cars, some in not to good condition).

Coin Shooting...2 Tot Lots and Backyard 11

Today was such a beautiful and comfortable day. I decided to try a couple of Tot Lots and came out with some clad coins and this afternoon I hit the back yard again (yeah, will keep on hitting that). In the backyard I recovered a key (bent), a miniature hot wheel car and a tag that is triangle in shape and the words on it read ( D L Rochester 357 Expires April 1908 ).
