Happy Fathers Day...

This morning I went out to search some Elementary school, this time I went to 3. The first one I was at last year, nothing was found in the wood chips found some clad .67 cents in the grass. The second place again didn't find to much, found one key, the tiny peace charm and .13 cents. The third and last school for the day did very good, I was here a couple of weeks ago and last year found a gold ring at the swings. Today, I found this silver ring almost in the same area the gold one was found, the Love charm was also in that area, found a lot of clad $1.77.

It is HUGE!!

Went to the beach to detect the TotLot, than decided to work my way to the sand. Didn't search the sand much due to difficulty walking in it. Along with clad coins found another Chucky Cheese token 2001. When I reached the sand I saw another person metal detecting, from a distance he looked familiar, I got closer and than I knew who he was (one of the members from the metal detecting club I'm in). We talked for a little while detecting and different areas, than he went on searching the sand and I was on my way back to the car. I searched an area of grass that's in the shade of the trees that's when I got a very strong target (figured is was a quarter spill) when I found it it was Huge, this mans ring. Called over to Curt to show him what I just found that's when he saw that it was silver it has the .925 mark also the letters GM possible the makers mark.

Found Silver and a Wheatie today...

Today I was in a Good mood for detecting, went to 4 Parks. The first one is just around the corner from my sisters house and this is where I found the silver ring (seems like these rings I find are bent out of shape). I don't know which park I found the 1946 Wheat. This first place I found .74 cents in clad. The second park found .99 cents in clad, plan to go bact to this area tomorrow to search around some bleachers (soccer field) this area is a Catholic school that is not being used except for church sales. The third park I searched last year (kind of out of the way) possibly not much here but turned out to be the most in clad $1.26. Since it was still early I go to the 4th and last park for the day, this park is an area where many go to water fish. Here I found .28 cents and an old fishing weight (this was found in the picnic area).
