This morning I got an early start so I could search at one of the elementary schools before the club meeting, that starts at 10 AM. I did find clad, more in the dimes (found $1.08). After the meeting all new members and members that never hunted in a seeded hunt got a short lesson on how and what to do. I joined in since I never have never done one of those. The club president seeded dimes, he showed us the technique that is used to plant the coins in the soil (very interesting). Also, the members that have done this helped the newbies learn the technique on searching and recovering the coins, what to look for and hopefully pick up speed (that will come with time and practice). While waiting I recovered a lone penny. I did get 18 dimes.
Coin shooting/treasure hunting: coins- $2.89; 1 quarter (1998D), 26 dimes (1966, 1970, 1972, 1977, 1978, 1984D, (2)1984P's, 1985P, 1994P, (2)1996P's, (2)1997D's, 1998D, (3)1998P's, 1999D, 2000D, (2)2000P's, 2002D, (2)2005P's, 2010P), 4 pennies (1961, 1982, 1993, 2005).
