Coin Shooting at the Beach...

This morning is very warm and humid, a good day to be here at the beach. I didn't search the play area to much nor the sand (hard to get a good target with all those black hot rocks) so I searched the park/picnic area and have to say I did pretty good. There was this one large tree near the area that concerts at the beach is held thru out the summer, I got many coin hits and some where multiple coins (quarters and pennies) in an area. Some of the coins were found on top of the soil just under the grass. Found two old coins, one a 1954D wheat penny and a 1947 nickel. Someday I'll get some really good finds...

Coin Shooting/treasure hunting: $1.62; 4 quarters (1967, 1982P, Connecticut 1999P, New York 2001P), 2 dimes (1966, 1991D), 4 nickels (1947, 1983P, 1999P, 2001P), 22 pennies (1954D wheat, 1967, 1974, 1976, 1977D, (2) 1980's, (2) 1986's, 1988, 1988D, 1994, (2) 1995's, (2) 1997's, 1998, 2003, 2006, (3) 2007's).
