Todays find...

Today was the boring trip to the laundry mat, after everything was washed I went to put into the dryer found a penny. I thought I lost my touch with finding coins at the laundry place. When finished I stopped at Wegmans to pick up a few items, on the way out I went to check the Coin Star, someone was using it when I came in. I found a dime on the floor.

With the weather getting colder, I'm working more on my handmade/handpainted ornaments, I have them on my other blog "Audiz Creations". I don't go out much. My goal is to get back out in the Spring with my metal detector, hoping the pain I have is gone by then.

Friday morning eye ball find.

This morning, I went and did laundry as I was waiting for the dryers I spotted a shiney penny on the floor next to the chair I was going to sit in, I picked it up after I sat down. After laundrey I stopped at Wegman's grocery store on the way back to the car I spotted 2 pennies in the Coinstar machine, so I reached in and grabbed them.

Stopped in at Tops...

This morning, I stopped at Tops to get a few things I first headed towards the Coin Star machine but someone was there so I ran to the bank. On the way back to customer service I checked the Coin Star again this time spotted a few coins in the return slot a quarter and 2 pennies. It's been awhile since I found some coins in these machines.

The Quiet Before the Storm...

This morning I went out for a short time to get a few things before the snow storm hits, I'm hoping that this will be the last of the snow, kind of tired of this cold and snow (every day in January it snowed, enough already). Tomorrow is ground hog day, if he sees his shadow with this lousey weather everywhere especially in Pennsylvania, I'll be not happy. I'm hoping for an early Spring. So, while I was out at the grocery store I went to check out the Coin Star machine (nothing in the mschine) but I spot a penny on the floor.

Got my 2 cents today...

This morning I went to the grocery store, and boy was it COLD!!! out. I checked the Coinstar when I entered but found nothing. I than went to the bank, on the way back to customer service I spotted a small dark circle on the floor in front of the Coinstar, I went over to see what it was and found a penny. Than to customer service and found another penny on the floor in front of the counter. My Lucky Day, yeah right....

Little find on December 2, 2010

I haven't been on-line for a few days and now with the heavy snow that came yesterday I figured I get a little caught up. Have been working on Christmas ornaments that I have been painting and posting on my other blog.

I went to the grocery store on December 2 and as a habit I go over to the coinstar machine and check for coins. I found this foreign coin (if anyone knows what country, please let me know the coin is about the size of a dime). Found this coin in the return slot and a penny on the floor in front of the machine. Also, went to a craft store in the mall and on the floor in one of the isles found a penny. The finds over the winter will probably be very small (I don't metal detect thru the winter) can't wait til Spring when I can get out detecting again.

A Day of Rest...

This Morning, I decided not to get up before 6 AM. I took it easy this morning and after awhile I went out for a short time to the grocery store. When I got inside the store I went over to the Coin-Star machine and checked the return slot, didn't see anything so I stuck my hand in and found a quarter. When I was done getting what I needed I spotted a dime on the floor in front of a bench by the Exit, I picked that up also...I plan to go detecting tomorrow, hopefully it'll be a quiet night from the neighbors.

A quick run to the grocery store...

I ran to the store to pick up a few things, especially apples (the MacIntosh is very good this year). When I went inside, I checked the return slot of the coin-star machine saw some coins, 1 canadian dime a nickel, 2 canadian pennies and a regular penny.

Oh My Gosh...

This heat is ridiculous, the heavy rain that we had made it really muggy and Hot. Stopped at the grocery store to pick up some things, especially new battery for my pro-pointer. The store was NICE, with the A/C there I didn't want to leave. Walked past the Coin-star and found a penny in the return slot.

Took a day off

From detecting, with the threat of Thunderstorms the humidity was up there again let alone the heat. Ran to the grocery store to pick up a few things, when I got to the store I walked over to the coin star machine I found a nickel in the return slot, not even an old coin...

Went to the grocery store to return bottles, getting a bit to many. When I went into the store, I walked past the CoinStar machine to check the return slot and spotted this quarter dated 1942S (Silver) YES!!!. Made the day a little more brighter...

Today at the laundry mat I went over to the snack machine, put my money in was to get .15 cent change with that I also got a bonus of a .25. And later in the afternoon stopped at the grocery store, watched a man at the coinstar machine after he left I noticed something in the bag he had his coins in, was a penny...

8-28-09 Coin Star find...

Today after work I stopped at the grocery store, after going thru costumer service I eyed the coin star return slot and to my surprise there was a handful of coins. I started to get them out didn't care what the people in line were thinking (I know someone was surprised I heard a gasp). Had a good selection, a lot needed for my coin folders and also got 2 silver dimes. 5 Canadian pennies all are 2008's. 5 Lincoln cents 1975, 1984, 1995, 1996, 19??. 6 Canadian nickels 1978, 1980, (2) 2001's, 1952-2002, 2009. 3 Canadian dimes 1978, 1995, 2003. 4 Roosevelt dimes (2 silver 1959D, 1961D), 1967, 2006P. And one 1973 shilling. Oh, and I also found 2 pennies on the floor earlier in the day...

Today, after MDing I went to the grocery store they have a Coinstar I check each time I go in, got me two dimes, one being silver 1962. And later found 2 pennies at Walmart on the floor, hey I'm going to pick it up (free money is good)...

Today before work I stopped at the grocery store, checked the return slots on the vending machines and the Coinstar, nothing. When I went back to the car I spotted a penny on the floor in front of the Coinstar machine. When it came time for clean-up at work while sweeping I spotted a penny.

This morning I stopped at grocery store and picked up a few things, when I left noticed a dime just under the edge of the Coin Star machine, the start of a Lucky day. I did find a wheat penny 1948D, and some other currency.
