Coin Shooting at the beach/park

This morning went back to the beach to search the TotLot (just in case more coins were spilled and did find some). Than on to the grassy part of the park and around the picnic tables. Last night was the Concert in the park, did find a bunch of coins. Also a older gentleman came up to me to see how I was doing, he was searching in the sand and showed me some of the coins he found (not a whole lot). He has a Garrett 500, my machine is a Garrett 250. I saw him awhile back in the park searching, but disappeared quick when I was gonna ask him a question, oh well maybe he was out to get the big treasure than *grin*. Again, I found a lot of coins especially pennies which is okay for I collect and save anything that is pre-1982.

Coin Shooting...Backyard 4

I went out in the yard again since tomorrow is supposed to be nasty weather. I was out for 2 hrs and found more coins (none of them silver, all are clad). The Garrett Pro-pointer is helping me a lot in locating the coins and yes junk also.

Coin Shooting...Backyard 3

Today, I spend about 1 1/2 hour coin shooting in the back yard and trying out my new Garrett Pro-pointer, I have to say it works GREAT!!!. I found alot of iron nails, broken toy gun and what I was really hunting for coins, I found clad coins totaling .57 cents...The nice part I didn't have to dig very much to locate my target.

Coin Shooting...Backyard 2

The weather is nice so to the backyard I went. Found a wheat penny, would of liked to find more. Tomorrow, I'm going out to purchase a Garrett Pro Pinpointer to help with searching. I found a local store that has one, they're holding it for me.
