Soccer Field Search...

This morning, I went to the park that had the Soccer Fest over the weekend. Started in the area that had the venders, found some coins but they have been there for awhile because I had to dig for them (not on top of the soil). Than I decided to hit the field, one soccer field was made into two playing fields they had been shortened. I did find some coins $1.82 not a whole lot, the area looked like it had been raked along the edges (grass was flattened to one direction) or it was from the people that had been sitting there. Did find a house key that was multiple colors, a key ring hook (light pink) and another type of hook that has writing on both sides (Not for climbing and other side says Safe working load 150 LBS) and this hook is black. I gave up here for now and drove over to the Tot Lot at the other end of the park, only found .08 cents a nickel and 3 pennies. After that I quite for the day. (should of gone to the beach *Laughing*). I will come back here in the future and search this park at leasure. Did very good here last year.

Saturday Morning Coin Shooting...

This morning I went to 2 elementary schools, first one was back to Mosquitoes school was not as bad as on July 11. Found some clad $1.66 and another house key. While there I talked for a little while to a lady that was walking her Yorkie, she told me about a park that was having a soccer fest today and tomorrow all soccer fields are being used for this event (there are about 6 fields in that park). I have searched that park many times last year and some this year, going there bright and early Monday Morning to search also where the venders are set up she mentioned to me what part of the parking lot they be. The second school found .36 cents.

Very Humid Day...

Went to 2 schools did poor, the first school managed to get .27 cents. The humidity is so bad 100% making it difficult to see thru my glasses (fogging up). I went on to the second school nothing at all, don't know if someone else was there before me or it's the squirrels leaving the holes in the woodchips, I decided to stop detecting here. I went to a soccer field at a nearby park saw a game going on yesterday at a small field figured might be lucky here, Yeah Right. I parked the car and when I got my things out I saw these two Finger Rosaries on the ground (Good eyeball find). Did find some clad here .36 cents. I decided to quit for the day.

Today found Peace...

Found this piece (child's junk jewelry) at a playground few blocks from home, also was the last place for the day. The first park TotLot around the corner from my sister found alot of pennies in the woodchips and a another single house key. Than I was off to a soccer field, nothing at one playing field (there are 5 playing fields). So I decided to try the TotLot at the other end did find some clad. Also, when I got out of the car I saw a plastic tool/tackle box next to the trash can it looked okay not broken so I took it. The finds for 3 playgrounds is small but as I mentioned earlier I never come out empty handed...

April 30, 2010 finds...

Today, I went to two parks, first one not to good, .28 cents. The second place did pretty good, was a soccer field at the playground did the other day. Under the bleachers found a small spill four quarters and a dime plus a couple of pennies, for this are found $2.43 clad.

Early Morning Detecting...

This morning I decided to go out, went to 2 parks one at the beach playground here I found $1.34 in the woodchips. The second park I've been to before, that has the soccer fields but mainly detected in the woodchips found .14 cents and after walked around in the Skate park before leaving I eyeballed .15 cents.
