Coin Shooting at the beach/park

This morning went back to the beach to search the TotLot (just in case more coins were spilled and did find some). Than on to the grassy part of the park and around the picnic tables. Last night was the Concert in the park, did find a bunch of coins. Also a older gentleman came up to me to see how I was doing, he was searching in the sand and showed me some of the coins he found (not a whole lot). He has a Garrett 500, my machine is a Garrett 250. I saw him awhile back in the park searching, but disappeared quick when I was gonna ask him a question, oh well maybe he was out to get the big treasure than *grin*. Again, I found a lot of coins especially pennies which is okay for I collect and save anything that is pre-1982.

Detecting at the Beach Park...

Got up early and was on my way to the beach for some coin shooting went to this one location. I searched the TotLot before heading to the boardwalk and around some picnic tables. Found a few coins by the swing, than didn't find any more in the woodchips so I headed into the grassy area at the picnic tables. Several areas had multiple coins in the holes. I searched for a couple of hours, than headed to Burger King for a cold drink and cool off with air conditioning.

Happy 4th of July...

Did pretty good today, went to 2 schools but the heat was getting up there, so didn't do more. The 1st school was the one I went to last week and did very good, found more quarters and other coins total at this school $1.21. Found out I find more coins in the grass than the wood chips. I will for sure hit this school again along with a lot of others. Also, found a key ring with 2 keys on it was laying on a bench don't look like car keys, one says Brinks #2664 and the other is a little weird looking no words on it, possibly a bike lock key.

The 2nd school has a very large TotLot, but like the other I didn't find anything in the wood chips, in the grass, yes. Found .76 cents and this silver Rover charm.

Coin Shooting...side yard 1

Today, I tried a different side of the house. The small grass stretch on the west side of the house. Found the normal rusty items and 7 pennies, one being a 1945 wheat penny this makes the 3rd one I found in our yard. The 199? unable to make out the last number, coin has decay over that part.
