Wednesdays bottle return...

This morning, I took two huge garbage bags full of bottles and cans to the store for deposit return. Haven't been out detecting due to the heat (I hate Hot temps) and back and leg pain. Have been busy making and painting ornaments to sell.

Haven't been detecting since Saturday 7-31-2010...

For several reasons I didn't go out detecting, first was the car, than rain and heat and yesterday had to do laundry. I did find a penny on the floor of the laundry mat gave it to a gentleman that was there washing cloths with his young son, told him heres a Lucky penny for the boy, (I did not enter the penny in my journal). The family was traveling thru the area, they live in NYC. It was so Hot yesterday with Humidity that I could actually see the air, I hate the humidty. Today was gonna go out but thunderstorms are in the area so decided not to go out again the heat is on, tomorrow supposed to be cooler and I will hit the park. I did take cans and bottles to the store for deposit, had 3 large bags it was about time to get them out...

4th day of Heat Wave...

Again, went out early to beat the heat but the humidity is what got me. I went to 2 parks, first one was back to the place I was at yesterday. Didn't find a whole lot a few coins and 3 more quarters, but not in the same area, scattered .91 cents. Then I went to another park to search the Tot Lot found only .13 cents and a junk broken chain. Hope the heat breaks soon, enough is enough...

Was getting a bit to much with the bags of bottles in the hallway. So took the in and to enjoy some air conditioning (Man, the cool air felt wonderful). This is the 3rd day in the 90's, supposed to get one more than some rain...

Hazy, Hot and Humid morning of Coin Shooting...

This morning I went to the park next to my sisters house, started about 7 AM and ended about 8:30 AM the heat was getting to much, I went home after this place. I found this ring in the Tot Lot and the post earring by the ball field ( don't know if the earring is silver, I see no mark), the ring is junk. In that short time of detecting I did find a good amount of coins.
