October 10, 2011...Columbus Day find...

I went to AC Moore to get some supplies I had two 50% off coupons but could only use one and was just for Monday. As I walked around I appoached a few people asking if they would like a coupon that I had an extra, one lady accepted so I gave it to her and as I turned to continue shopping I spotted a penny on a stack of card stock, so I grabbed it.

This morning stopped at the Hess station on Dewey Ave. I went to prepay for the gas when I got to my car saw a penny behind the car on the ground (Hmm, seems that I'm finding pennies just behind the car on the ground lately). Was a pre 82

Last day at SeaBreeze...

This weekend is the last day for us at SeaBreeze, this weekend ends the season. When we got there and got our parking spot is where I found a Lucky penny was on the ground in front of my car. Also, while waiting for my husband and son I sat and watched the people at the game booths. A group was standing in front of the ducks in the water game that's where I saw someone drop a dollar, I yelled over that you dropped your money it was a child that dropped it so I handed it to her.

Yesterday I stopped at Walmart

After doing laundery I went over to Walmart to get a few things I needed for starting another project, at the check out I spotted a penny on the floor and as the cashier was working the register I bent down to pick up the penny.

Home Depot...

This morning, I went to Home Depot to look around for ideas on things to make. When I was finished and went to the car, I spotted something shiney at first I thought it was a dime turned out to be a nickel.

Thought I spotted a dime

I was looking out of our dining room window and thats when I spotted a coin, looked like a dime. When I got outside to retrieve it I saw that is was a penny, a Zincoln 1991 had some residue on it that made it the color of a dime.

Back to Wal Mart...

This afternoon, I headed back to Wal Mart needed to make a return and pick up a few items. When I got to the checkout two people were ahead of me, while waiting I spotted a dime on the floor just under the ledge of the counter, hope nobody sees it. Yes! they didn't see it, when it came to my turn I bent down to pick it up.

Took bottles in for deposit.

This morning, I went to the grocery store to return the bottles for the deposit. Than afterwards I ran to the mall, before running into Michael's store I stopped at MacD's for a large diet coke. Went thru drive up after paying I saw a coin on the ledge of the window in the corner this time I didn't take it but told the employee that it was his lucky day and pointed to the coin ( the coin by it's edge looked like a quarter).

My find was from the laundry mat. I was walking around checking the machines for coins, I than went over to the vending machine and checked the return slots, in the snack machine I found a dime in there. Even though I haven't been getting out much this winter, I still find some coins :-)...

This morning my husband spotted a coin on the floor in front of the garbage at MacD's, it was a coin at first he thought it was a nickel but turned out to be a dime. Yes, maybe he will join me in searching for coins, be better if I could get him interested in metal detecting.

Got out for awhile today...

This morning, I got out for awhile to do laundry before more snow fell. Boy do I wish it was Spring so I could get back to detecting. While I was putting my clothes in the dryer I looked close and there was a quarter in the return slot, I thought I was loosing my touch. Later in the day my husband and I went out to eat a late lunch and under the next table I spotted what looked like a coin, this time I didn't go for it because of other people sitting nearby.

This morning was still rainy and wet so didn't do any detecting, went out for breakfast at Burger King. Yesterday Morning at the Laundry Mat...

While doing laundry I walked around looking on the floor and in the machines to see if I could find any coins, I saw none. As I was watching the clothes dry, I looked at the machines at an angle and with the reflection on the face of the Driers I saw something sticking out of coin return, found a coin after all...

Heavy Rain this Morning...

Due to the rain I decided to go to the Laundry Mat to get the laundry done. As I was waiting for the washer to finish I walked around checking the dryers for coins, nothing. Than while waiting for the machine to stop spinning I was talking to this person waiting for his washer to finish. I happened to look into the washer next to mine and spotted a coin inside, a nickel.
